MWD COACH began with a mission of training the best people for an awesome career in the oilfield by practicing the best MWD & Directional Drilling habits. Doing the same thing brings forth the same result...so do it the correct way every time & get positive results every time!
The founders have over 60 years of combined knowledge & actual rig field experience in the Directional Drilling Industry, and they saw a huge disconnect in field training. While seeing the amounts of people that were going to need to have proper training MWD COACH training was set in motion! |

After the huge Shale Boom in Fort Worth directional drilling was set in motion for Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, and South Texas. This brought large amounts of unqualified people into Directional Drilling and the Oilfield. The problem wasn't the people, instead it was improper training. With incorrect training practices going on in the field and people moving into positions they were not ready for, this caused a problem with jobs being handled correctly. The more mistakes that were made the more money it cost the Oil & Gas Operators & the Directional Drilling companies.
